C.V. Hose would like to congratulate junior firefighter Kaleb Shields for graduating from Franklin County Jr. Firefighter Academy, Class of 2011. Kaleb attended the week long academy that taught basic firefighting skills in Engine Company operation, Truck Company, and SCBA. They also learned how to remain motivated and work as a team.

Truck House was dispatched at 22:07 Box 7-3 for the Barn Fire. Units arrived to find a working fire, truck assisted with    ladder piping, overhaul and lighting. Truck cleared at 00:44

July 20, 2011 

 Truck and Air 53 was dispatched at 0045 hrs. to Upper Mifflin Township, Box 351-01, 126 Primrose Lane for Barn Fire. Arrived to find Barn fully involved and burning a second smaller barn. Crews assisted with ladder piping and long, extensive overhaul. Crews remained on the scene until 0731.

Company members attended the 36th Annual Antique Pump Primers. Members participated in different actives, bringing home first place for Barrel Spin, and Best Appearing Fire Department Owned Pumper 1905-1939.  Thanks who all attend, Job well done.....

Truck and Engine 53 responded to 150 West Orange Street Box 53-02 for fire in the wall. Truck and engine arrived to find a small fire in the wall in a mobile home. Quick can action, from the truck house fire out. causing minimal damage. Command holding company 53 engine 154, Remaining units assisted with salvage and over haul, cleared at 21:57.

July 2, 2011 

Truck House started its day at 0741 am with back to back AFA, Box 7-3, cleared at 0830am. Twenty minutes later Truck was dispatched for the working fire box. Truck was alert at 0851 to assist with Sta. 4 at 111 Quarry Road, Box 44-01 for working building fire.  Truck arrived and was assigned to RIT, shortly after assisted with salvage and overhaul. Truck cleared at 11:48hrs.

July 1, 2011 - Vehicle Accident

 Engine 53 was dispatched at 22:59 to 9250 Olde Scotland Road, mutual aid Franklin County Box 15-6 for a two vehicle accident head-on with entrapment. Units arrived on scene had two class 1 patient and one class 4. Engine arrived and assisted with extrication. Unit cleared at 00:28
