2012 INCIDENTS

January 16

At 0109 hours Company 53 was dispatched to across from 124 S. Prince St. for a house fire with possible entrapment.  Engine 152 arrived on scene advising fire from side A.  Company 53 ladder the building, performed a primary search, ventilation, salvage and over haul before clearing the scene at 0547 hours.

January 2

At 1043 hours Company 53 was dispatched for a chimney fire with extension at 27 Enola Rd. Company 53 arrived on scene and assisted with ventilation, salvage and overall.  Units went available at 1157 hours.

January 1

At 0743 hours, Company 53 was dispatched to 49 Richard Ave. box 152-02 for smoke in the structure.  Units arrived on scene to find smoke showing.  Crews found a rug covering the vent from the heater, which melted/caught fire.  Units went available at 0846 hours.

December 24

At 0648 hours, Company 53 was alerted to Oakdale Road in Lurgan Township for a building fire.  First arriving units found an out-building fully involved with flames. Company 53 operated on the scene until 0832 hours.
