October 16, 2011 - Working Fire

 Company 53 was dispatched at 05:01 to 7674 Molly Pitcher Hwy for garage fire box 15-1.  Units arrived to find a fully involved Garage with extension into the house. Truck arrive position on the A & D side of the structure and assisted with search and rescue, ladder the building for ventilation, lighting and salvage and over haul. Air 53 assisted with filling of cylinders. Units cleared at 07:22

October 5, 2011 - Working Fire

Truck and Engine 53 was alerted at 13:42 to 42 Gilbert Road, Southampton Township, Cumberland County, Box 252-01. for a shed fire. First arriving units arrived to find a 150 X 50 with attached 50 X50 shed/building fully involved. Truck 53 staged on the hard road, engine 53 made access to the building to assist with extinguishment, with aerial operation and pulled hand line to assist exterior operations. Crews also assisted with extensive salvage and over haul. 53 units cleared at 17:13hrs.

September 11, 2011

Air 53 was alerted at 0351 Fannett Township 21169 Cross Rd assisting on the building fire ( Church Fire). Air 53 arrived on scene and assisted with filling of cylinders Air 53 cleared at 0817.

September 10, 2011 (Convention Parade and House Fire)

On Saturday Members participated in the 84th Annual Cumberland County Volunteer Firefighters Association Convention parade. Members brought home, First Place Truck, Engine and Antique, Judges award, best appearing Pierce, and also Best Appearing Company (3 or less equipment). Also just prior to the start of the parade at 1326 Truck 53 was alert to E. Catherine Street, Chambersburg Borough for a house fire. Truck responded and arrived to assisted with ventilation and salvage and over haul. Truck Cleared at 1559. (Good Day for the Truck House, Thanks for all the hard work.)
