ELECTRICAL FIRE

November 17th, 2008

 

Truck 53 was dispatched at 23:37 to 2 Lenwood Park in Southampton Twp, Franklin County for an electric fire in a mobile home Box 15-1. Truck 53 arrived on scene, Chief 53 was given Command while Chief 15 took interior operations, the crew assisted Company 15 personnel with an investigation, finding a wiring problem in the electric panel, Truck 53 cleared at 00:16.

 


WORKING HOUSE FIRE IN THE BOROUGH

November 17th

 

Truck, Engine and Air 53 responded to 463 East King Street in the Borough at 02:27 for a reported house fire, Box 52-01. Units arrived to find fire on the A/B side, The Truck crew ladder and assisted with ventilation, lighting, salvage and overhaul, utilities, opening walls. The Engine Company assisted with pulling a line to the division 2 to assist on fire attack, Air 53 assisted in filling cylinders on scene. Company clear at 05:13.

HOUSE FIRE IN THE 49 BOX

November 15th

 

Truck 53 responded at 23:01 to 1 Naugle Road for the house fire  to find fire in the wall box 49-01, The Truck Company laddered the roof and assisted with containing the fire in the wall, salvage and overhaul, lighting. Truck 53 cleared at 23:57.

HOUSE FIRE IN FRANKLIN COUNTY

November 7th

 

Air 53 responded on the WFD at 01:18 into Franklin County on Drifted Lane Box 12-03B for a house fire. Units arrived to find fire in the 2nd floor and attic of a log cabin. The crew from the Air unit assisted with some overhaul operations and filled cylinders on scene before clearing at 03:40.

TOUR OF FRANKLIN COUNTY & FIRST DUE FOR BELLS

November 6th

 

The Truck House responded to 3 box alarms and 1 transfer today. At 08:00 Truck 53 responded to a 7-7 Box at 2491 Hafer Road for the mobile home fire. Co 7 was first due and found fire on the front porch. Then at 10:36 the 11-06 Box for smoke in building on Broad Mountain Rd. Truck 53 was released from the 11 box to respond for a transfer to Headquarters Sta. 1 at 11:04. After the Franklin County tour that morning Company 53 returned to Cumberland County for a 53-01 box for alarm bells at 105 W. King Street at 13:15.

 


 

AIR UNIT ASSISTS ON TRACTOR TRAILER ACCIDENT/FIRE

November 4th

 

Air 53 responded early this morning to 23.5 milemarker southbound on Interstate 81 in Franklin County to fill air cylinders for units operating a accident with a tractor trailer on fire (Box 15-81-7). The Air unit cleared within about two hours.

POSSIBLE CHIMNEY FIRE IN THE BOROUGH

November 2nd

 

Co.52, 53 & 54 units were alerted to 135 Roxbury Road for a chimney fire. Crews arrived to find the incident to be good intent, Chief 53 had the Command and released all units from the scene within 25 minutes.
