Hopper on fire

Truck and Engine 53 was alert to 24 West Garfield Street (Old Valley Quarries Site) at 08:03 Box 53-01 for reported building fire. Truck 53 arrived on scene to find a hopper on fire. Engine 154 laid a line and supplied truck 53 to assist with fire attach and salvage and over haul. Units cleared at 08:52

Engine and Truck 53 responded to 3542 Roxbury Road at 0214hrs for a garage fire. A/C 15 on scene with working fire, he assigned Truck 53 to assist with fire attack, and engine 53 a RIT team. Crews then assisted with salvage and overhaul. Units cleared at 0342

Truck 53 alert at 1758hrs to Borough of Chambersburg for reported basement fire. Truck 53 arrived and assisted with utility control and salvage and overhaul. Tr53 cleared at 1906hrs.

Shed Fire
May 25, 2010
Engine & Truck 53 was alerted to 126 Gephart Road, Southampton Township, Cumberland County for the shed/barn fire at 2327hrs. Engine and truck responded and arrived on scene to find a well involved structure. Engine and truck position on side A and assisted with overhaul and extinguishment, units cleared at 0112 hrs.

Kitchen Fire

Truck and Engine 53 was dispatched to 133 West King Street, Box 53-02 for a reported stove fire. Truck 53 arrived on scene to position on side charlie to find heavy smoke from side D. Crew quickly enter the delta side to find heavy smoke with small fire to the stove area. Crews assisted with extinguishment (APW), and ventilation (PPV). Crews cleared the stove from the structure, and assisted with smoke removal, units cleared.
